My last post of the year

Yep, for me, it is. I don't participate in the December story, so November is my final blog post.

This has been a pretty lousy year, I think. I am ready to turn the page, that's for sure. We lost too many good musicians, elected a lousy politician, and we saw a lot of family and friends in a light we really didn't want to see. The good thing, of course, is that it's energized a lot of people to be more active in politics and organizations. As to the bad thing ... well, that remains to be seen, I guess.

Here's hoping you enjoy the December of story-telling here. Enjoy your holiday season, however you celebrate it, and here's to 2017 -- bigger and better than ever!

In some ways, this year was rough. The election being the worst. Wait until all those voters find out they were scammed...and they will, at everyone's expense I fear.

2016 has had its ups and downs--just like many other years. I do hope more good people become involved in serving our country. Unfortunately, good people, really good people, do not want to become involved in politics. Who would willingly put their family through such turmoil? 2017 has to be better.

2017 will certainly be a year when I work hard on personal, community and professional goals, but I realize I have to be energized/ involved with national politics more than ever before. I know I must not be silent when I see injustice. I'll need good leadership, clever strategies and places to put my money for the next four years. My search is on!
