Hi there! My name is Robin but I write under REMullins as there are several other Robin Mullins-es out there. I've spent most of my life in the middle part of the country: Missouri, Oklahoma, and Michigan. I spent two years in Colorado and it was there I finally re-wrote and got my debut novel published.

I've three fabulous children and a big, ole dog named Sabu. So far I've written three novels: IT'S A WONDERFUL UNDEAD LIFE, VAMPIRE IN THE SCRYING GLASS, AND A VAMPIRE TO BE RECKONED WITH. I'm currently working on the fourth and (most likely) last in the vampire/paranormal series. After SHE'S A COLD HEARTED VAMPIRE, I believe I'll try my hand at contemporary romance.

I've always been an avid reader, and I never go anywhere without a book. As a kid I secretly wrote episodes for the Partridge Family and The Mod Squad in my Big Chief tablet. As a teenager, I wrote poetry filled with angst. I made up stories for my own children. But I never actually looked ahead to publishing anything. I never considered myself good enough. You see my greatest failing in life is a lack of 'belief in self'.

In 2008 it took an amazing and atypical leap of faith for me to share the first book I wrote with a couple of friends. With their encouragement, I submitted to The Wild Rose Press. After that it took four years of me second guessing myself and a very patient editor to set me on the published path.

Diane Burton

My name is Diane Burton and I’m another newbie to this blog. I live in West Michigan with my husband. We have two grown children and two delightful grandkiddies. You’ve probably heard people say that if they’d known grandkids would be so much fun they would have had them first. It’s true!

I’ve been a reader all my life, and I love movies, especially action adventure, mysteries, science fiction, and romantic comedy. Castle, Firefly, and NCIS are my favorite TV shows. So, is it any wonder that I write science fiction romance and romantic suspense, both with comedic elements? As a member of RWA plus the Mid-Michigan and Fantasy, Futuristic, and Paranormal chapters, I’ve met many wonderful writers who are so willing to help one another.

Betsy Ashton
Born in Washington, DC, I grew up in Southern California where Iran wild with coyotes in the hills above Malibu. Although I protested the war in Vietnam, burned my bra for feminism, and am a steadfast Independent, I had to have a day job. I entered the military-industrial complex after my academic career as a student and teacher. I count myself a survivor of the corporate brainwashing, because I still can still think. Married for nearly thirty years to the same man, I am a writer, a thinker, the mother of three grown stepchildren, companion and friend. In my spare time, I am the president of the statewide Virginia Writers Club. In 2013, Koehler Books published my first novel, Mad Max Unintended Consequences. I love riding behind ,husband on his motorcycle. You'll have to decide for yourself if and where I have a tattoo.

Alicia Dean
I live in Edmond, Oklahoma. I have three grown children and a huge network of supportive friends and family. I have dreamed of being an author since I was a young child. There is no feeling in the world like seeing your dreams fulfilled, and I couldn't be happier. I wrote my first romance at age 11, and my hero looked just like Elvis Presley (which I plainly stated in the story as my description :)). I still have that story, but I hope I have learned and grown as a writer over the years.

I write suspense and paranormal, among a few other random genres from time to time. Other than reading and writing, my passions are MLB, NFL, and watching my favorite televisions shows like Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Justified, and Dexter. My favorite authors, and this is only a small sampling, are Michael Connelly, Dennis Lehane, Lee Child, Lisa Gardner, Sharon Sala, Jordan Dane, Ridley Pearson, Jonathan Kellerman... I could go on and on. Oh yeah, and I am still an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Vonnie Davis

Hello, my name is Vonnie Davis and I'm here to tell you it's never too late to work on making your dreams come true. After a lifetime of dreaming and wondering if I could sell anything I wrote, I finally gave it a try. Imagine my shock when I did!

I grew up in south-cental Pennsylvania. Raised 3 teenagers as a single mom and worked like a fiend to pay those college tuition bills. I look back now and wonder how I did it. I also went to college as a grandma--what a fun experience that was. Then after being alone for 10 years, I met a retired English teacher AND writer on match dot com, of all places. We live in Lynchburg, Virginia now with a tabby cat who spends too much time on Twitter for his own good. Hey, what can I say, Jazzie Miles Davis is a wonder cat.

Romance has always been my passion. I love the hope that we all have someone special just for us. I love the ups and the downs of a romantic journey. I write contemporary and historical romance as well as romantic suspense. As soon as I finish my current project, I'm going to try my hand at a paranormal romance, too. One should always work at expanding her horizons.

My debut book, Storm's Interlude, was published shortly after I turned 63--see, I told you it's never too late. You can find me blogging at Vintage Vonnie. My peaceful spot on the web is a nice place to visit, too. Please stop by.

Christine DePetrillo

By day, I teach fifth grade and inspire young writers. By night, I write everything. Adult romance, young adult romance, science fiction, fantasy, poetry, pieces about nature, pretty much anything that pops into my head. I can't NOT write. I've tried, but The Voices won't let me. They insist I write their tales. I tell stories meant to make you laugh, maybe make you sweat, and definitely make you believe in the magic of love.

I am a member of Romance Writers of America, The Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Rhode Island Romance Writers. When I'm not writing, you can usually find me outside. I've been playing out there since I was a little hobbit and still love the feel of dirt under my fingernails.

Jannine Gallant

Write about what you know.  I've taken this advice to heart, creating characters who live in small towns and plots that unfold in the great outdoors.

I grew up in a tiny town in Northern California, and I now live in Tahoe City with my husband and two daughters.  When I'm not busy writing or being a full time mom, I enjoy taking my dog, Ginger, hiking and snowshoeing in the woods around our home.

Whether I'm writing contemporary, historical, or romantic suspense, I try to bring the beauty of nature to my stories.

I graduated from U.C. Davis with a double major in history and creative writing.  Though I've worked in both the restaurant and ski industries, I never wanted to be anything but a writer.  After many years of pursuing my passion, I've finally achieved success with the publication of Victim of Desire and my Class of '85 Reunion stories, proof positive that dreams do come true! Alison Henderson

I grew up in Kansas City on the edge of the prairie, the product of a long line of pioneering women.  One grandmother was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, and the other majored in physical education in college – an eccentric choice for a woman in the ‘twenties.

Like any pioneer, I’ve always been intrigued by new places and experiences.  I went off to New York to study art history at Vassar College, and by the time I was twenty-one I had traveled the world from Japan to Tunisia.

Unlike many writers, I didn’t always have the writing bug.  I was bitten when I temporarily quit work to stay home after my daughter was born.  I’ve always been an avid reader and decided to try my hand at writing the kind of stories I loved.  After many months of typing away during naptime and pre-school, the first manuscript was born.  And quickly died.  But it was followed by another and then another.  I was hooked on the creative process.  I currently have two western historical romances available at The Wild Rose Press.

Today, my husband and I are empty-nesters living in Minnesota, and our daughter is a graduate student in Chicago.  Like most of you, I spend my days up to my elbows in the mundane requirements of life, but later I shed that skin and slip into the magical world of imagination.  I hope you’ll join me. My personal history in a nutshell is pretty simple. I’m a wife to one; mother to four—seven if you count in-law children which I do—and grandmother to four so far. My work experience includes public relations specialist, magazine editor, television producer, and script and speech writer. I’m also a founding member of Mid-Michigan Romance Writers of America.

A few years back I started to seriously pursue publication of contemporary romance. The result is a number of short stories, novellas and a full length novel, so far, published by The Wild Rose Press. www.thewildrosepress.com

My goal now is for many more to come.

Brenda Whiteside

I began life as an artist until I found I enjoyed writing more. My goal is to get these stories out of my head and offer you some entertainment.

FDW and I are gypsies at heart having lived in six states and two countries. Currently, we split our time between the Lake Roosevelt Basin in central Arizona and the pines in the north. Wherever I open my laptop, I spend most of my time writing stories of love and suspense.

Come discover adventure and love, suspense and empowerment, sensual pleasures and laugh out loud fun with the people who populate my world of unending possibilities. Meet heroes and heroines who know whatever lies behind them pales in comparison to the choices they make on a new path of discovery.

I’m a member of Sisters in Crime.

JL Wilson

Hey there: I'm J L Wilson and I write mystery, suspense, time travel, paranormal, and just about any combination of those genres. I currently work as a technical writer for a Big Software Company, and I also write just about full-time. When I have a spare moment, I teach writing classes, work on the landscaping in our new home, take long walks (well, 'long' is a relative term, I guess, but they're long enough for me).

Check my web site (jayellwilson) and the Publishing Tips tab -- that has information from my writing classes as well as tips for aspiring authors. Don't forget to check the links for my Time Travel series, my Mysteries, and my paranormal/futuristic series. It's all there, just one click away!

Feel free to contact me (jaye@jayellwilson.com ) or join my Yahoo group to receive my monthly newsletter (JLWilsonNewsletter-subscribe@yahoogroups.com). The newsletter is also posted at my web site, so check it out there if you don't want to join up.

I'm happy to be with the Roses (although my family has always joked that I'm more of a thorn than a rose sometimes). I'll be on my best Rose behavior while with these ladies!
