If a photo is worth a thousand words, here are five thousand words for you. I love Vermont at all times of the year, but each month has its own treasures for the eyes.
Where is your favorite place to spend November?
Beautiful, beautiful photos of a gorgeous state. I spent a couple of fall seasons working in Stowe in my distant youth, but I've never been in Vermont in November. We still have a few trees hanging onto their yellow leaves in Tahoe, but the wind forecast for today should end the last of our fall color. I'm lucky to live in a place that's pretty spectacular every month of the year!
Stunning photos, Chris. Thank you! I remember traveling to Vermont on a college-hunting trip back in high school. It was a gorgeous fall day, but I took one look at the video they showed us of the snow in winter and decided it wasn't for me! It is a lovely state. I'd like to go back for a visit some day.
Thanks for sharing your pictures. I'm sure it's a lovely state. Aren't they all in their own way? My magnolia trees are still hanging onto their leaves and they are just turning golden. Our red maple is bald as is the River Birch.
I so enjoyed Vermont when I visited the state in July. Gorgeous country! I have the maple syrup to prove I was there! My oranges here in CA are starting to turn from green to yellow and my fruit trees are almost naked. Fall on the Central Coast...I like it!
I remember driving through Vermont, but not staying long enough to visit. Wish I'd taken the time. Lovely photos. Here in Michigan, it's a rainy, gray Saturday. Typical of November.
I was in Vermont several decades ago. Loved it.
Vermont is my happy place. You ever arrive somewhere and just know it's where you belong?
Oh my gosh, stunning!! I have always wanted to visit, nay, to LIVE in Vermont. I especially do now!
