Keeno, my Belgian Malinois |
Exercise? I have an active dog that needs someone to walk him and play with his ball. Guess who is the default person? Not that I’m complaining. I love Keeno and he is a fun pet.
How about spending more time with family? We are definitely doing that. I love watching sports and the kids are so active there’s something going on every week. Wrestling, ice hockey, basketball, are in the next few months, with baseball and field hockey, then soccer coming. Then there is the music: concerts and choir.
So what else can I resolve to do? I’m writing. And making a resolution doesn’t add hours to my day. I never have enough time for this important part of my life..
Perrennials in bloom |
So to get back to my point, I have no new resolutions. I have what is already on my calendar. And it is full..
It's not too late to enjoy a sweet Christmas love story. "Dixie's Gift"
Author: Barbara Edwards
Blurb: Ellen Carter deeply grieves for her husband Dan, but at least she still has Dixie, her beloved Malinois. However, soon Dixie leaves her too. But the faithful dog cannot rest easy in heaven while her mistress is unhappy. Dixie pleads with the Archangel Michael to let her send help, and intercedes for Ellen in the only way she can. But will Ellen get the message, and more importantly, will she accept Dixie's gift?
Sexy newcomer Michael Burke can barely take enough time from his successful restaurant for a decent night's sleep, let alone romance. Still, he is intrigued by the beautiful widow and can't resist entering her shop. Sparks fly, and when Ellen has an accident in a snowstorm, he comes to her rescue. Trapped by a blizzard and aided by Dixie's Gift, Ellen and Michael find more than shelter--they find love.

Sounds like you do have a full life, like me. Who has time for resolutions anyway? Best of luck with Dixie's Gift. What a beautiful story.
I don't make resolutions either! And yes, sounds like your life is very full (and fulfilling) without! Enjoy every minute.
I love days being full, and it sounds as though you do, too! Good luck this year.
It's a good resolution to not make resolutions!
Love those pillars on your house, Barb...and the bright flowers set them off so beautifully. Your life is full, so why fiddle with it...I agree! Good luck with Dixie's Gift...so heartwarming!
It's more important to make healthy and happy choices year round than for a few weeks in January. Sounds like you do that!
Sounds like you have it all together, Barbara. Good job! You definitely do not need resolutions. :) Enjoyed your post!
No resolutions for me--again. You keep so busy, you have no need for them. Just enjoying your life is enough.
Good for you, Barb. Enjoy life. The rest will fall into place.
