A Blooming Paradise! by Jannine Gallant

I love Tahoe. Well, I love Tahoe in the summer when we're not buried in snow. After subjecting you to snow pictures all winter, I thought I'd treat you to a walk in the woods and meadow. I took all these on my usual daily hike with Ginger a couple of days ago. Just flowers and no dog photos this time. Enjoy!

Lupine

Mule Ears

Not sure what these are.

Or these. I couldn't get closer because the meadow is still soggy.

Indian Paintbrush

I hope you enjoyed my Tour de Tahoe flowers. If you'd like to cool off with a bit of Tahoe snow and a chilling mystery, WILDE THING is still on sale for 99 cents. Get your copy at Amazon or check out my website for buy links.

Have a great summer! Stay cool!

  4. Lovely photos...definitely a reward for the long, cold, snow-bound winter! (Maybe that's Mother Nature's way of keeping you there.) :-) Thanks for sharing with us. Loved the Wilde series!

  6. Thanks, ladies. I think I'll stick to my woods today and avoid the hoards of tourists who have invaded Tahoe for the long weekend. This is my one day not to work, so I'll enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest!

  9. The coast in summer...fog, fog, and more fog. The rest of the year is beautiful, though, Alison!
