Why me? by Barbara Edwards

This has turned into the weirdest time. I didn't get internet for several days. I missed a blog date. We planned to leave Florida and that night had tornado warnings. The storms followed us to Virginia where a tornado hit a couple miles from my grand-daughter's home.
That night heavy winds and thunderstorms hit.
Okay. Relax.
It's okay. I have a crack in the screen of my IPhone. Who knows how.
My hotspot isn't working to hook me up to my computer.
I called for service to restore my cable and internet at my house and found they'd billed me the wrong amount. Two hours on the phone to straighten that out.
Still not right.
We're home. Camped in the yard until they restore our water. Can't run the furnace without water running in the house. Water company is coming on Thursday.
Now cable wants to hook-up on Friday. Okay. I don't have a choice, do I?
Looks like the  storms are gone but  its colder than expected. 55 degrees today but predicted 70s.
I'm waiting for it to snow.
The wedding is in three weeks. Two confirmations within a month.
How can I write when I'm so weirded out?
I think I'll go back to Florida. Sigh.

Please follow, friend or like me. I love to hear from my readers.

  6. Oh my, I'd be one cranky mess. I really would. That's a lot of continued stress. I hope things are looking better soon, if not NOW.

  8. Oh, do I hear your pain. You're due for a break, and I don't mean your leg either. And they say behind every cloud... And I know all about weddings (see tomorrow's post) and confirmations of invites--my daughter is currently chasing 20 who missed the deadline. Breathe deeply--this, too, shall pass.
