I think you've proved that with your publishing success. You can do this the same way. Don't try to make all the changes at once. Write this book one page at a time, just like your others. Good luck!Dixie Lee Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08357931648168292632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-55769250885328907512013-01-12T14:53:40.789-05:002013-01-12T14:53:40.789-05:00Excellent goals, Vonnie. Cutting out carbs and sugar is REALLY hard at first, but it does get easier with time. (I had to diet along with him since I'm in charge of the food in this house. Coincidentally, I also lost 20 lbs.) Hang in there; you can do it!Alison Hendersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12725250883303287946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-32206405731821798822013-01-12T12:46:23.782-05:002013-01-12T12:46:23.782-05:00You're so right, Charmaine, writing is triple ...You're so right, Charmaine, writing is triple the fun of exercizing. Will not allow Jazzie up on his lap. Oh, he'll feed him and change his litter box, play the guitar for him and even amaze the spoiled cat with magic tricks, but he's not touching the cat. Sitt...Here's to a new and improved you, Vonnie! Sitting down writing all day is unhealthful anyway, but making yourself get up from typing a gripping story is about as hard as the exercise itself. My body hounds me when I haven't been working it enough by giving me aching knees, stiff neck, weak back and reduced stamina. If I could only use the same discipline I use to write and translate it to exercise...well writing IS more fun.<br />Congrats on all your hard work that has created so many good reads!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12783350310611096039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-56789940266157127382013-01-12T11:51:40.270-05:002013-01-12T11:51:40.270-05:00Get a dog. An exercise bike doesn't have those soulful eyes! When we were between dogs, I skipped walking plenty of days. Ginger won't let me do that. And the fresh air always clears my head and gives me my best writing ideas. I'm pulling for you. Best of luck with both your goals!Jannine Gallanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17692098634695675967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-26209852569656073762013-01-12T11:21:24.519-05:002013-01-12T11:21:24.519-05:00I hope so, Margo. I'm not the most disciplined, so it's easy for me to "forget" to ride the bike for a day or two.Vonnie Davis ~ Romance Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07360480832587538895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-67174235086456596962013-01-12T09:02:12.806-05:002013-01-12T09:02:12.806-05:00Vonnie, Dear, Vonnie,
