I've had too many to count. Like the time I was trying desperately to get my new car to unlock, then realized it was someone else's car that looked (at least to me) identical. (Once I realized what I'd done, I congratulated myself for buying a Hyundai that could masquerade as a BMW!) Luckily I didn't get caught trying to break into it!Leah St. Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11004006100786260893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-57112539320624680912014-07-19T12:21:34.921-04:002014-07-19T12:21:34.921-04:00Oh, yeah. I on the other hand was exhausted and trying to go to sleep when the fire alarm went off. I looked out in the hall & nobody was out there. Still, I threw clothes on over my jammies and we ran down 24 flights of stairs (no using elevators in a fire, of course). We came out in the service area and employees acted like we were weird. Now I have to say a couple of other people joined us on our trek. What fire alarm? When we found out it was a false one, we both needed a good drink. Scary at first, hilarious afterward.Diane Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03754105332297068271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-8565699675510842712014-07-19T12:05:29.140-04:002014-07-19T12:05:29.140-04:00Thanks, Jannine and Alicia, for letting me know I&...Thanks, Jannine and Alicia, for letting me know I'm not the only one who has 'duh' moments. And yes, my cp and I do have a lot of fun. :-)Donna Michaelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06432598670605984687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-62240623486197150702014-07-16T08:47:44.067-04:002014-07-16T08:47:44.067-04:00Haha, I enjoyed this post. Trust me, I've had plenty of Duh moments in my life, and still do. My family and friends can attest to that. Ask my critique partners how often I leave my laptop/credit card/purse behind. Ask them about my 'Stupid Bathroom B****' incident. (Inside joke, but I basically waited for eons outside an empty bathroom). And, there was the time a few years back when I went to a business meeting with some folks, and when they dropped me off, I hopped out of the van, only to discover I was still belted in. Embarrassed much? :)Alicia Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12003539473772776004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-22390184543311255072014-07-16T08:41:21.485-04:002014-07-16T08:41:21.485-04:00Okay, you're goofier than I am. I think we all do, so you aren't alone. Hey, don't forget the funny awkward characters--the ones who make you squirm with embarrassment for them. George Costanza on Seinfeld springs to mind.Jannine Gallanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17692098634695675967noreply@blogger.com
