I've always been intrigued by the origins of our modern celebrations. Can you imagine if the kids today really did start singing that when you answered the door? Yikes! Great book excerpt as well. I would have been tempted to slap that creep's hand away! Best of luck with it.Leah St. Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11004006100786260893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-89931971691349281982015-10-25T14:49:52.871-04:002015-10-25T14:49:52.871-04:00Thank you, Jannine!Thank you, Jannine!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11227762293469388459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-87025537100906004142015-10-25T11:26:24.436-04:002015-10-25T11:26:24.436-04:00Soul cakes sounds like a lovely tradition! I'm in Seville, Spain, where Nov. 1 is celebrated (All Saints Day), by placing flowers on graves and giving the gift of flowers to live folk. Not so much focus on the dead as in Mexico. Not seeing much creepy around here during this American holiday. No tricks/treats...as I said, lots of flowers. Thanks for the recipe and good luck with sales.Rolynn Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09504770204968969467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-83677872785523997422015-10-25T07:44:07.524-04:002015-10-25T07:44:07.524-04:00Welcome, Christy.
