Your impromptu trip sounds fabulous. Glad you snatched your hormone pills though. We each take pills 3 times a day, plus Calvin takes insulin. Just getting twenty-one days worth of vitamins and medicines packed took hours. Of having enough money while away, packing enough or the appropriate clothing, meds, usual things we NEED, even if we don't... And that was just to go camping within 50 miles of home. I can't imagine 50K miles and no going back! I think we all worry about something while out of our comfort zones though.

The easiest, stress-free trip we ever took as a family was when we still lived in California. One night Mitch and our three daughters kidnapped me. Yes, told me we were going to the store--only I got suspicious that they were up to something (only one of the girls still lived at home-yet all were there at once- and we left Andee with her daddy, just a baby then). I ran back into the house for my jacket and something told me to grab the book I was reading and my hormone pills. Good thing because we ended up in Washington State by morning! I had never been to visit my mom's grave and they decided to take me for the upcoming Memorial day. Priceless. I wasn't worried about much of anything those two days.

I'm just glad everything went well for you and Calvin, so far from home.Calisa Rhosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743891437445099016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-61453083007322842342013-10-12T20:26:50.285-04:002013-10-12T20:26:50.285-04:00We had a great time, Diane, moving at our own spee...We had a great time, Diane, moving at our own speed and being in the moment.
