It would be faster. LOL But then I'd have so much to revise if I waited until the end.

Rolynn, isn't it wonderful to be surprised? I love it.

Margo, love those aha moments.Diane Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03754105332297068271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-79145028473917715202015-06-08T15:44:20.271-04:002015-06-08T15:44:20.271-04:00I'm with the rest of you. The idea of plotting...I'm with the rest of you. The idea of plotting gives me the willies! It's the darnedest thing though, I will write something about a character and have no idea what or why, only to have a series of 'aha' moments as I move the story along. I like that, Diane, circular writing. Though at times I do wish I could write linear, I don't think it's going to happen.Margo Hoornstrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00036077481652050799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9023937099212820339.post-68151420845992135532015-06-08T12:29:27.826-04:002015-06-08T12:29:27.826-04:00Diane, I'm with you. I am surprised every day...Diane, I'm with you. I am surprised every day with what comes to me (and the page). Not that it's all good (wouldn't that be wonderful), but I do experience the thrill of discovery in my method of writing. I no longer write those outlines, but I have them circling in my head. I would describe myself as a linear writer. I don't like to go back and delete or add big chunks of plot. So, when my characters misbehave, I dig in and think the way they do and make the new twist work! Fun post!Jannine Gallanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01047728297429025804noreply@blogger.com
